6 OFFICIALS WERE ARRESTED OCT. 11, 2000 ON PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE CHARGE REGARDING SEPT 30, 1999, JCO CRITICALITY ACCIDENT. Apparently the arrested JCO people included, by functional title:
(1) former chief of the production department
(2) former deputy head of the department,
(3) person who was in charge of production [might be same as (2)]
(4) former head of JCO Co.'s uranium-processing plant
(5) the worker who survived the accident (he was also the group's leader in this case)
(6) former head of a planning group
